The promise of a smart home can’t be realized without tailoring it to you. That begins with our initial consultation.

What to expect from Imperia:

Consultation

Our initial conversation can be virtual, but ideally in your residence. We begin by learning about your home, how space is currently utilized, occupants, existing lighting, and entertainment or security systems. Most importantly we will gain understanding from you of what is missing and what we can improve with technology. We will also introduce you to current smart home capabilities and things to consider. Lastly, we will begin to build a vision with you for your project— large or small.

Design

During the design phase we will build the project’s scope, select components for your application, map out any wiring, and consider any integrations necessary with existing systems you may own. It is also during this phase that you will be able to select colors and fabrics for shades and wall components like switches. Finally, we will present you with a proposal for review.

Install

We will work with you to select the best install date and provide a timeline for completion. You can expect not only professional installation but thorough cleanup as well. It’s our business to make homes better than we found them. Your installer will keep you up to date on progress and any issues that arise. Most jobs will be completed in a day or two depending on scope.

Setup

When your installation is complete, we will test all systems and show you how to control them. Our systems are designed to be simple and intuitive enough for anyone to use but we will not leave until you are confident you know how everything works, including any advanced features your system may have available to you. At this point we will also recommend any future enhancements.

Support

Setup is not goodbye. You can reach out to us at any time with questions about your system. Some of the systems we deploy can be managed remotely, requiring some simple adjustments on our end. In the event you add components yourself (we recommend fist contacting us) such as a new TV. We may need to make a service call, which will be scheduled and completed promptly.
